Job summary

Cytel is seeking a seasoned epidemiology data analyst to support the Real World Evidence program. You will prepare RWD, advise on analytic strategies, and work with epidemiologists to analyze data using SQL, SAS or R, and advanced methods.

You will build analytic datasets, run regression and survival analyses, and present results to stakeholders. Strong communication and project management are essential for timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in epidemiology, biostatistics, statistics, bioinformatics, or economics with 5+ years of RWE analytics experience.
• Proficiency in SQL (intermediate to expert) and SAS or R is required.
• Experience with RWE data sources such as Optum Clinformatics Datamart, Truveta, and UK Biobank.
• Familiarity with relational databases and claims/other data file layouts.
• Experience with regression, survival, and propensity weighting analyses.
• Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Real World data and advise on analytic strategies for Epidemiology team.
• Program and conduct statistical analyses under supervision.
• Create data dictionaries, link datasets, and produce analytic databases.
• Generate tables/figures for investigators and study reports.
• Present results to clients and internal teams; assist in study reports.
• Supervise future staff as responsibilities grow.
