Job summary

Cytel is seeking a senior Real World Data analytics professional to support epidemiology projects in Albany, NY. You will prepare RWD, advise on analytic strategies, and contribute to data coding, algorithm development, and dataset linkages.

This role collaborates with Epidemiologists and stakeholders to deliver timely insights. The ideal candidate has a Master’s or PhD in a related field with 5+ years of RWE experience in pharma, CRO, or academia, and is proficient in SQL, SAS or R.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in related field with 5+ years of experience in real-world data analytics for pharma, CRO, or academia.
• Strong SQL proficiency; SAS or R required; experience with RWD sources preferred.
• Proven ability to handle complex data, build analytical databases, and perform advanced statistics.
• Excellent communication and project-management skills; able to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Real World data and advise on analytic strategies for Epidemiology projects.
• Program and conduct statistical analyses; code data and create algorithms.
• Support data standardization, visualization, and reporting of observational data.
• Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Safety, and Clinical Development on regulatory and study deliverables.
• Prioritize multiple projects and maintain timely delivery; communicate results effectively.
• Possibly supervise in the future and manage stakeholder relationships.
