Addison Group is recruiting a Senior Specialist to support a busy State Affiliate Relations team on a contract basis in Alexandria, VA. The role serves as the main liaison for a network of state and regional affiliates, coordinating grassroots advocacy, surveys, and engagement under a Senior Director.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5–6 years of project management/policy/association management experience.
• Experience managing relationships with chapters, affiliates, or member groups, including committee or council support.
• Exposure to grassroots advocacy coordination; health policy knowledge is a strong plus.
• Working understanding of health policy, regulatory issues, and healthcare systems.
• Experience building surveys and translating data into reports and engagement strategies.

• Build and maintain relationships with state and regional affiliates; identify needs and recommend solutions.
• Manage affiliate-focused online communities and grow engagement.
• Spearhead weekly newsletter topics and content.
• Highlight affiliate accomplishments in internal/external publications.
• Coordinate advocacy efforts and Hill visits with policy staff.
• Support affiliate council meetings: agendas, minutes, logistics, and expense reports.
• Run annual affiliate survey from development to data analysis and benchmarking.
• Update affiliate web content and support using Wild Apricot CMS.
