Job summary

Addison Group is seeking a Senior Specialist, State Affiliate Programs to support our client’s Policy and Advocacy team. This role focuses on strengthening relationships with state and regional affiliates, coordinating councils, and supporting grassroots advocacy initiatives.

The ideal candidate will manage external relationships, survey analysis, and data-driven resource development while balancing multiple projects in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5–6 years of relevant project management experience in policy, association management, or advocacy.
• Experience managing relationships with state chapters, regional affiliates or member organizations.
• Familiarity with grassroots advocacy, legislative outreach, or policy-related programs.
• General understanding of healthcare policy and the healthcare system.
• Experience supporting councils, committees, or working groups, including meeting prep and logistics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/survey tools; Smartsheet is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain relationships with state and regional affiliates and develop solutions to improve engagement.
• Manage online communities and reporting updates for leadership.
• Develop new digital resources and discussion groups to strengthen collaboration.
• Produce weekly affiliate newsletters and coordinate submissions.
• Coordinate affiliate participation in grassroots advocacy and legislative outreach.
• Prepare agendas, minutes, and presentations for State Affiliate Council meetings; manage logistics.
