Job summary

Honda is seeking an engineering professional to deliver early planning and agile solutions across Product, Process, and Tooling to improve North American manufacturing characteristics. You will support feasibility, lead tool verification, and guide tooling specifications toward successful design and production outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in automotive engineering, knowledge of Honda New Model development, and experience with CATIA V5/V6, AutoForm, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g. Mechanical or Industrial) or equivalent related experience.
• 2+ years of relevant full-time engineering experience in automotive production facilities.
• Experience with equipment/new model development and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Supports advance Body Frame Stamping product feasibility from styling sketch through 1st drawing issue for New Model Body in White construction.
• Leads Manufacturing Stamping New Model Tool verification check list requirements and drawing maturation across N.A. DEBQ functions.
• Supports the development of New Model Stamping Tooling specifications/process plan from 1st drawing to Die GO.
• Provides direct technical guidance and oversight to downstream customers to ensure successful design and production deliverables are met.
• Monitors Design Change through drawing maturation.
