Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks a Sr. Staff Systems Engineer (level 6) to lead external systems integration for the Sentinel program.

You will act as Prime Technical Lead/RE, driving technical risk resolution, overseeing interface definitions, and guiding multi-disciplinary teams across facilities, data, networks, software, and hardware. The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, strong leadership, and extensive experience in complex aerospace systems, with responsibilities spanning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with extensive engineering experience or higher.
• Active DoD Secret clearance or higher with recent background check.
• Experience with Product Owner/Product Manager responsibilities and large-scale systems.
• Experience with ICBM or complex aerospace/defense systems.

Responsibilities

• Prime Technical Lead/RE for external system threads (facilities, data, networks, SW/HW, flight test readiness).
• Oversee ESI technical content to ensure rigor and quality; lead reviews with customer engineers.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to ESI team members.
• Lead system integration activities for multi-system interoperability and test planning.
