Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Mechanical Systems Design Integrator (level 5) in Utah to push the boundaries of weapon system integration. You will review NX models and ICMs, resolve gaps, and lead cross-functional teams across SE&I and MDI to deliver compliant mechanical interfaces for complex systems.

You will mentor engineers, participate in planning, and apply strong leadership while ensuring ethics and integrity as you contribute to multi-domain programs across land, sea, air, space,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in STEM with extensive engineering experience.
• Strong mechanical design and design integration knowledge.
• Experience with PLM tools and interface control models.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage risk.

Responsibilities

• Review high-level NX models and ICMs for gaps or issues.
• Drive gap resolution and ensure design solutions meet objectives.
• Analyze designs across product teams to prove successful integration.
• Deliver design packages in a cross-functional environment.
• Foster coordination between SE&I and other teams.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers.
• Lead system-of-systems integration activities and planning.
• Communicate with stakeholders and manage technical risks.
