Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Mechanical Systems Design Integrator to join the Sentinel WSI team. The role spans mechanical design, systems integration, and cross-segment coordination on a major defense program.

Required are advanced degrees or extensive aerospace experience, active clearance, and strong leadership. The position offers relocation assistance and career growth across land, sea, air, space, and cyberspace disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 12+ years of experience, or 10+ with a Master's, or 8+ with a PhD.
• Active DoD Secret clearance; Top Secret clearance eligibility.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design and design integration.
• 5+ years in large aerospace/defense system development.

Responsibilities

• Review high-level NX models and ICMs for gaps or issues.
• Drive design integration resolutions across program segments.
• Support cross-functional teams to ensure compliant mechanical interfaces.
• Lead integration activities and communicate with stakeholders.
• Mentor and coach team members.
