Job summary

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in computer science, related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 12+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on system architecture and design in consumer-facing tech companies.
• 5+ years as a senior-level technical lead or architect driving direction across multiple teams.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams and organizations.
• Expertise in building and scaling high-availability systems with deep multi-cloud understanding.

Responsibilities

• Develop a long-term Reliability roadmap and partner with the org to drive it.
• Design and influence company-wide SRE architecture, standards, and engineering practices.
• Create scalable incident management processes and reduce operational toil.
• Foster an ownership culture and a proactive Reliability mindset across teams.
• Mentor and lead other SREs with servant leadership and advocacy.
• Collaborate with product engineering on design choices for large-scale distributed systems.
• Lead blameless post-mortems to learn from incidents and prevent recurrence.
