Job summary

Ping Identity is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to help define and build Identity for AI capabilities across the Ping platform. You’ll turn research ideas into design and delivery, working across products, services, APIs, and models in a fast-paced, global environment.

You will leverage Java/JavaScript, Google Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes to deliver scalable production services, while mentoring teams and collaborating with product, UX, and engineering to create elegant, secure

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating production services at scale.
• Strong background building distributed systems and platform capabilities.
• Proven ability to design APIs, RESTful services, and data models.
• Experience with authentication, authorization and identity management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver IAM capabilities across the Ping platform from infra to UI.
• Define and evolve APIs, models, workflows, and services for platform features.
• Research and deliver Identity for AI and AI-first platform experiences.
• Collaborate with product management, UX, and engineering to refine features and designs.
• Participate in design, coding, testing, rollout, and production support.
• Use AI tooling to accelerate research, coding, prototyping, and documentation.
• Mentor engineers and set strong technical examples.
• Adapt to evolving customer needs and technology trends.
