Job summary

Ping Identity Corporation seeks a Senior Staff Software Engineer to help define and build Identity for AI offerings within the Platform Engineering team. You will drive production services across the Ping platform, spanning infrastructure, databases, APIs, and UI, while accelerating AI-enabled identity capabilities.

The role requires broad software engineering experience, strong systems thinking, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional, global environment.

Qualifications

• Able to design, build, test, and operate production services using Java, JavaScript, Google Cloud, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience designing APIs, RESTful services, and data models.
• Experience with authentication, authorization, and identity management.
• Ability to turn ambiguous ideas into production-ready solutions and provide mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Deliver IAM capabilities across the Ping platform from infrastructure to UI.
• Define and evolve APIs, models, workflows, and services.
• Research, prototype, and deliver Identity for AI features.
• Work with product, UX, and engineering teams to refine features.
• Participate in design, coding, testing, rollout, and production support.
• Leverage AI tooling to accelerate research, coding and prototyping.
• Mentor engineers and drive strong engineering practices.
