Job summary

Ping Identity in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Identity for AI Platform Engineering. You will deliver IAM capabilities across the Ping platform, spanning infrastructure, databases, and UI experiences, while shaping APIs, models, and services.

You will prototype solutions in AI-enabled areas and collaborate with product, UX, and engineering to deliver scalable outcomes. You will work with authentication and identity management, participate in all development lifecycle

Qualifications

• Ability to use AI engineering tools to accelerate research, code understanding, prototyping, implementation and documentation while applying sound engineering judgment.
• Experience building production services, distributed systems, or shared platform capabilities.
• Experience designing and implementing APIs, RESTful services, integration contracts, and data or domain models.
• Experience turning requirements and ambiguous problems into designs, prototypes, and production-ready solutions.
• Experience with authentication, authorisation, and identity management.
• Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly, collaborate across teams and time zones, and support other engineers through feedback and knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver IAM capabilities across the Ping platform from infrastructure to UI experiences.
• Contribute to design and implementation of APIs, models, workflows, and services.
• Research and prototype solutions with senior leaders to turn ideas into features.
• Refine features with product, UX, and engineering teams for elegant, scalable outcomes.
• Participate in design, coding, testing, rollout, and production support cycles.
• Use AI tooling to accelerate research, code understanding, prototyping, and documentation.
• Communicate clearly and share knowledge through code reviews and discussions.
• Thrive in a rapidly changing environment adapting to customer needs and trends.
