Job summary

Ping Identity in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help build IAM capabilities across the Ping platform, spanning infrastructure to UI. You will design APIs, models, workflows, and services, while prototyping solutions with senior technical leaders to turn validated ideas into product features.

You will work with product, UX, and engineering to deliver elegant, usable, and scalable outcomes for customers, participate in the full development lifecycle, and leverage AI tooling to

Qualifications

• Experience building production services or distributed platform capabilities.
• Experience designing and implementing APIs, RESTful services, and data or domain models.
• Strong background in authentication, authorisation, and identity management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver IAM capabilities across the Ping platform from infrastructure to UI.
• Design and implement APIs, models, workflows, and services.
• Prototype solutions in emerging areas with senior tech leaders to turn ideas into features.
• Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering to refine features for scalable outcomes.
• Participate in design, coding, testing, rollout, and production support.
• Use AI tooling like Claude Code to accelerate research and development while keeping judgment.
• Share knowledge through design discussions, code reviews, and delivery.
