Job summary

Ping Identity in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Platform Engineering team. You will turn ideas into production capabilities across the Ping platform, focusing on IAM, APIs, AI tooling, and experiences.

You will work in a fast-paced, cross-functional, global environment shaping features for customers. You will design, build, test and operate production services using Java, JavaScript, Google Cloud, Docker and Kubernetes, collaborating with product, UX and

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, building, and operating production services.
• Experience with authentication, authorisation and identity management.
• Strong ability to design APIs, RESTful services, and data models.
• Familiarity with AI tooling and modern AI workflows in engineering.

Responsibilities

• Deliver IAM capabilities across the Ping platform from infrastructure to UI.
• Design and implement APIs, models, workflows, and services.
• Prototype solutions in emerging areas and turn ideas into features.
• Collaborate with product, UX, and engineering to refine designs.
• Participate in design, coding, testing, rollout and production support.
• Utilise AI tooling as part of day-to-day engineering while maintaining judgment.
• Share knowledge through design discussions, reviews and delivery.
