Job summary

Signify Health is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to be a hands-on technical leader who designs and delivers enterprise-grade software powering clinician-facing experiences and clinician performance management. You will architect and build highly distributed, large-scale systems and raise the engineering bar through mentorship.

Based in Missouri, this role requires strong full-stack expertise, cloud experience across Azure, AWS or GCP, and a proven track record of delivering scalable solutions

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in software engineering concepts and problem solving.
• Experience as a polyglot software engineer using multiple languages.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude).
• Experience with full-stack development to ship and operate large-scale systems.
• Strong SQL skills and RDBMS knowledge.
• Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with modern front-end technologies and full-stack development patterns.
• Strong cloud experience (Azure, AWS or GCP).
• Clear communication and ability to travel quarterly.
