GRAIL seeks an experienced software leader in Menlo Park, CA, with 8+ years in full-stack and microservices to drive native cloud-based software for The Galleri Test and related offerings. You will guide multiple large programs, set engineering standards, and mentor teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

The role emphasizes distributed systems on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), test protocols, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years of meaningful work experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining full-stack applications and microservice ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Use your experience developing backend applications and distributed systems to build native cloud-based software that is leveraged by GRAIL’s key commercial offerings for The Galleri Test, my.grail.com and provider.grail.com.
• Develop and lead multiple large cross-functional / cross-organizational programs with high complexity, resource requirements and associated risks.
• Drive improvements for the software engineering organization based on understanding of business needs and industry trends.
• Provide technical leadership in the form of standards, tools, and knowledge requirements for the software engineering organization.
• Guide and mentor team members to provide an example of innovation and excellence.
