Job summary

TrendAI is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to help build Trend Vision One Private Access, a Zero Trust Network Access capability. You will work on Connector, Relay, and Controller microservices that run across cloud regions, enabling secure access to internal apps without exposing them to the public internet.

The role is hands-on with architectural scope, requiring systems thinking, performance debugging, and security-focused design.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience building production backend systems.
• Proficient in Go or a similar language; polyglot with Python/C/C++.
• Experience running software in customer environments and managing long-tail versioning.
• Hands-on production debugging with metrics, profiling, and autoscaling.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement features across Connector, Relay, and Controller services.
• Own one or more Controller microservices end to end.
• Diagnose and resolve production performance issues: memory, CPU, latency, autoscaling.
• Write architecture proposals and drive them through design reviews.
• Investigate complex production support cases with customer context.
• Contribute to AI-augmented development pipeline and validation.
