Job summary

TrendAI™, the global AI security leader and enterprise business unit of Trend Micro, seeks a SecDevOps Engineer to own and operate a hybrid on-premises infrastructure, spanning virtualization, network security, storage, and containerized services, while driving modernization with automation and AI-assisted tooling.

This hands-on role sits at the intersection of systems administration, network security, and DevOps, shaping a safer AI-powered future.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in computer science or a related technical field preferred.
• Hands-on experience with pfSense firewall administration.
• Proxmox and/or VMware ESXi virtualization platforms experience.
• Container platforms: Podman or Docker.
• Proficiency in Python; familiarity with C++ is a plus.
• Experience with Ansible or similar configuration management tools.
• Strong network troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with SAN storage and blade servers.
• Familiarity with Dell N-series/S-series switches.
• Knowledge of AI/LLM tooling for workflows.

Responsibilities

• Administer and secure network perimeter infrastructure, including pfSense firewalls.
• Manage virtualized infrastructure across Proxmox and VMware ESXi, including migrations.
• Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot containerized workloads with Podman or Docker.
• Build and maintain automation for provisioning and configuration management with Ansible.
• Write and maintain internal tooling and scripts in Python (C++ a plus).
• Diagnose and resolve network issues across switching and routing layers.
• Administer SAN storage and blade server hardware; remote/out-of-band management.
• Configure Dell N-series and S-series switches.
