Vibehackers is hiring a Senior Staff Software Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable distributed software and data platforms for clinicians and hospital operations. You will lead architecture, mentor staff, and drive DevOps/CI-CD initiatives across ITG Accelerated Technologies and DT&I.

The role demands 7+ years of software experience, proficiency in ReactJS/Node.js/Vue.js/NestJS/TypeScript/Python, strong SQL, and cloud/GCP expertise. Experience with AI-assisted tooling is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (Master’s preferred).
• 7+ years relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in ReactJS, Node.js, Vue.js, NestJS, TypeScript, or Python.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Experience with cloud development, especially GCP.
• Experience with data engineering and ML feature engineering.
• Knowledge of streaming/event-driven architectures and REST API design.
• Git and CI/CD discipline.
• Experience with container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Cloud Run).
• Familiarity with AI-assisted tooling (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Lovable.dev, v0.dev, bolt.new).

Responsibilities

• Rapidly learn, maintain, and improve existing solutions and design new systems.
• Provide production problem resolution and on-call support as needed.
• Gather requirements, validate feasibility, and contribute to solution design.
• Design scalable distributed systems and communicate architecture (C4 model).
• Produce high-quality, modular code and set engineering standards.
• Design and execute DevOps strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment frameworks.
• Create system design docs and SLAs/specifications.
• Lead troubleshooting, mentor team members, and participate in hiring and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects on technology evaluation and vendor/contract activities.
