Lyric is a leader in healthcare decision intelligence. We seek a Staff Software Engineer to drive design and implementation of mission-critical systems, remaining hands-on while mentoring teammates and shaping architecture.

In this role you will architect core services, lead reviews, and collaborate with product and design teams to deliver scalable solutions. This position requires eight+ years of experience and strong cloud-based engineering skills.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Go, Python, or TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with CI/CD, Kubernetes, and observability.

Responsabilités

• Architect and implement core services, systems, and APIs focusing on scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Serve as technical leader across projects, guiding design and performance optimization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver solutions.
• Lead design reviews, code reviews, and contribute to technical RFCs.
• Investigate and resolve production issues to ensure reliability and uptime.
• Drive adoption of engineering best practices and tooling across teams.
• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers.
