Qualifications

• Deep hands-on experience in complex system design and data pipelines with scale and performance
• Proficient with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with governance and policy engines such as Cloud Custodian and OPA
• Advanced knowledge of at least one OOP language (Go or Python)
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL; familiarity with Cassandra, MongoDB, Elasticsearch
• Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP and enterprise middleware
• Excellent communication skills to lead projects and interact with clients
• Experience partnering with engineering teams and taking research to production
• Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
• Familiarity with developer tooling across the software development life cycle
• Knowledge in big data, streaming data and ETL architectures
• Experience solving analytical problems with quantitative methods
• Knowledge of ML and AI technologies
• Knowledge of Grafana and Prometheus
• 6+ years in software development, platform architecture, and infra management
• 4+ years in open-source frameworks
• 3+ years in architecture and design
• 3+ years with AWS, GCP, Azure or hybrid data centers

• Provide technical and thought leadership across the enterprise
• Collaborate with product managers, teams, customers, and engineers to solve complex problems
• Develop and execute a platform engineering technical strategy
• Ensure quality, usability, and performance of solutions
• Mentor and coach engineering and product teams
• Influence executives and drive best practices
• Share and improve cross-team processes and standards
• Analyze cost and forecast; incorporate into plans
• Assess resource requirements and optimize operational processes
• Willing to provide on-call and production support
