Job summary

Empath Trustbridge Hospice in Palm Beach County seeks a Sr. Staff Nurse to lead and mentor the interdisciplinary hospice care team, delivering compassionate, high-quality end-of-life care.

You will coordinate daily operations, drive QAPI initiatives, and act as a key clinical resource while supporting staff with guidance and expertise.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Florida.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Minimum of 2 years hospice experience preferred.
• One year of supervisory experience is a plus.
• Basic computer skills and EMR software experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support daily team operations and clinical functions with the Care Team Manager.
• Provide leadership in Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities.
• Conduct supervisory visits and participate in quality and compliance activities.
• Serve as a first-line clinical resource for nursing staff and hospice aides.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with the Care Team Manager to coordinate and support daily team operations and clinical functions.
