Job summary

Trustbridge Hospice, part of Empath Health, is seeking a Sr. Staff Nurse to serve as a clinical leader and mentor within the interdisciplinary hospice care team serving Palm Beach County.

As a senior nurse, you will coordinate daily operations with the Care Team Manager, lead QAPI activities, conduct supervisory visits, and act as a first-line resource for nursing staff and aides.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years hospice experience preferred.
• One year supervisory experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and EMR experience a plus.

What you'll do:

As a Sr. Staff Nurse, you will

• Collaborate with the Care Team Manager to coordinate and support daily team operations and clinical functions.
• Provide leadership in Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities and initiatives.
• Conduct supervisory visits and participate in other quality and compliance activities as assigned.
• Serve as a first-line clinical resource for nursing staff and hospice aides, offering guidance, consultation, and support.

What You'll Need

• Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Florida.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of Hospice experience is a plus.
• One year of supervisory experience is a plus
• Basic computer skills and EMR software experience a plus.
• Adequate and reliable means of transportation with adequate insurance and valid Florida driver’s license.
