Job summary

Trustbridge Hospice, part of Empath Health, seeks a Senior Staff Nurse to lead and mentor within the hospice care team in northwest Broward County. You will support daily operations, participate in QAPI, and provide guidance to nursing staff and aides on quality care.

The role requires Florida RN licensure and BLS; hospice and supervisory experience are valued. This on-site position offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth within an established hospice network.

Qualifications

• 2+ years Hospice experience preferred

Trustbridge Hospice, a member of Empath Health, is seeking a Senior Staff Nurse to serve as a clinical leader and mentor within the interdisciplinary hospice care team, supporting the delivery of compassionate, high-quality end-of-life care in North west Broward county.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will Collaborate with the Care Team Manager to coordinate and support daily team operations and clinical functions. Provide leadership in Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities and initiatives. Conduct supervisory visits and participate in other quality and compliance activities as assigned. Serve as a first-line clinical resource for nursing staff and hospice aides, offering guidance, consultation, and support.

What You’ll Need

Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Florida.

Current Basic Life Support Certification.

Minimum of 2 years of Hospice experience is a plus.

One year of supervisory experience is a plus Basic computer skills and EMR software experience a plus.

Adequate and reliable means of transportation with adequate insurance and valid Florida driver’s license.
