Job summary

Trustbridge Hospice, part of Empath Health, is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Care Center in West Palm Beach. This PRN role offers weekend availability and the chance to make a meaningful difference in end-of-life care.

You will coordinate patient and family care with the physician and interdisciplinary team, perform patient assessments, deliver interventions, and provide education to enhance comfort and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current Florida RN license.
• BLS certification.
• 1 year hospice, public health, or geriatric nursing preferred.
• Strong communication and teaching skills.
• Proficient with EMR systems.

Trustbridge Hospice, a member of Empath Health, is seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Inpatient Care Center team in West Palm Beach. What You'll Do:

As an RN in our inpatient care center, you will play a vital role in coordinating and delivering compassionate end-of-life care: Coordinate patient and family care in collaboration with the primary physician and interdisciplinary team (IDG) Conduct thorough assessments of patient and family needs Ensure timely and coordinated delivery of interventions and services outlined in the care plan Use your clinical expertise to monitor patient conditions, provide interventions, and deliver education that enhances comfort and quality of life Address concerns promptly and thoughtfully to ensure a high level of satisfaction and trust.

What You'll Need

• Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Florida.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• One year in public health, home nursing care, oncology nursing, medical/surgical nursing, geriatric nursing or Hospice nursing preferred.
• Understanding of and ability to apply characteristics of Hospice Nursing: case management, crisis intervention, communication skills, teaching skills, thanatology skills and needs.
• Basic computer skills and EMR software experience a plus.
• Adequate and reliable means of transportation with adequate insurance and valid Florida driver’s license.
