Job summary

Trustbridge Hospice, part of Empath Health, seeks an RN Care Support Supervisor to lead daily operations across regions including Support Center, Clinical Staffing, and Crisis Care from our WPB office. The role blends clinical leadership with administrative duties, ensuring seamless collaboration among care teams.

The schedule is 7am–7:30pm with every other weekend. Florida-licensed RNs with leadership in hospice or related fields are encouraged to apply for this comprehensive role offering

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Florida.
• Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in hospice, oncology, medical/surgical, home health, or geriatric care preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR software and basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversee daily operations for Care Support in assigned regions (Support Center, Clinical Staffing, Crisis Care).
• Evaluate staff performance and provide coaching and professional development.
• Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure proper staffing and operations.
• Direct Care Support staff and foster a culture of accountability and excellent service.
• Coordinate clinical and patient care activities to ensure quality outcomes and satisfaction.
• Act as liaison among administration, physicians, coordinators, and clinical staff.

The role serves as both the professional and administrative leader for Care Support staff, fostering collaboration among clinical teams, physicians, coordinators, and administrative leadership.

Your schedule will be: 7am - 7:30pm and every other weekend.

What you'll do

• Provide overall leadership and oversight of daily operations for assigned regions, including Support Center, Clinical Staffing, and Crisis Care services.
• Manage and evaluate employee performance, providing coaching, guidance, and professional development opportunities.
• Develop, maintain, and oversee work schedules to ensure appropriate staffing coverage and operational efficiency.
• Direct and support Care Support staff, creating a culture of accountability, teamwork, and exceptional service.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor clinical and patient care activities across assigned teams to ensure quality outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Serve as a liaison between administration, physicians, coordinators, and clinical staff, promoting effective communication and collaboration.

What you'll need

• Registered Nurse currently licensed in the State of Florida.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• One year of recent leadership experience in hospice, oncology, medical/surgical, or home health, public/health, geriatric care experience preferred.
• Expertise in support skills, palliative care, and educational techniques.
• Basic computer skills and EMR software experience a plus.
