Job summary

Astronics Advanced Electrical Systems (AES) in Kirkland, WA, is seeking a Senior or Staff Mechanical Engineer to join the Cabin Electronics Product Team. This on-site role offers potential part-time work-from-home flexibility depending on project needs.

The role focuses on developing complex power solutions for aircraft cabins and flight decks, with opportunities to lead engineering efforts and interface with internal/external customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 5+ years (Senior) or 8+ years (Staff) of relevant experience.
• Experience in aircraft cabin power systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative power solution concepts for cabin and flight deck.
• Provide technical leadership across multi-discipline teams.
• Support production, design reviews and tests.
