Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent degree; Master’s degree a plus.
• 8+ years building distributed & scalable software and systems.
• Willing to constantly learn and work in a team setting.
• Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop containerized (micro) services for a distributed multi-tenant system handling real-time data and cloud telemetry to provide insights, visibility, and security recommendations.
• Design and defend service architecture, delivering solid implementations.
• Mentor junior engineers, new grads, and interns to grow as engineers.
• Write code primarily in Go and work with data pipelines using SQL or other interfaces; leverage Kubernetes for infrastructure.
• Own critical features and subsystems across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements to deployment and usage.
• Own operational aspects and write robust, maintainable software under real-world conditions.
• Emphasize code quality with early testing and integration testing to ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with Product Management to refine requirements and exceed customer expectations.
• Develop deep understanding of customer problems through stakeholder collaboration.
