Job summary

Illumio is a leader in ransomware and breach containment, enabling Zero Trust segmentation and cyber resilience across hybrid multi-cloud environments. The role focuses on designing services, implementing features in Java and Python, and owning full lifecycle delivery with telemetry and strong code quality.

You will work with a cutting-edge stack spanning operating systems, distributed applications, and UI tools, driving scalable software for customers in security-critical environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building distributed & scalable software and systems.
• Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent degree. Master’s degree is preferred.
• AWS / Azure / GCP cloud experience.
• Language requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design your service, develop features after peer review to production quality.
• Primarily write code in Java, Python.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes orchestration or willing to learn.
• Own critical features and subsystems and the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements to deployment and usage by customers.
• Owning service / feature operational aspects with telemetry and metrics for identifying production issues quickly.
• Own code quality, including early testing and integration testing for robust products.
• Partner with Product management for requirements clarification, scoping and locking.
