Job summary

Robinhood is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer, Developer Infrastructure, to unite four engineering teams under one technical vision and accelerate Robinhood's software velocity.

You will drive Bazel-based build infrastructure, scale CI/CD, and weave AI into development pipelines, shaping how engineering operates across the org. This role offers hybrid work in NY or Menlo Park with in-person collaboration several days weekly.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering at senior levels
• Deep expertise with Bazel and large-scale monorepo build systems
• Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines at massive scale
• Fluency in Go and/or Python; familiarity with TypeScript/Swift/Android desired

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction and roadmap for the DevX, TestX, Backend Platform, and Mobile Platform orgs
• Lead and evolve Bazel-based monorepo build infrastructure and remote build execution at scale
• Scale CI/CD pipelines to support thousands of daily builds with fast, safe, reliable runs
• Drive the TestX infrastructure and environments that power the full test experience
• Champion AI and agentic systems across the SDLC to boost developer velocity and code quality
• Set technical standards for core runtimes, libraries, IDE tooling, and security
• Partner with leadership to define a long-term developer infrastructure roadmap that embeds AI
