Job summary

Robinhood is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer, Developer Infrastructure, to unify DevX, TestX, Backend Platform, and Mobile Platform under a single technical vision. You’ll drive the Bazel-based monorepo, remote build cluster, and a language-agnostic build strategy, while embedding AI throughout the SDLC to multiply engineering velocity.

This role is based in New York City or Menlo Park with in-person attendance 3 days per week, shaping the future of Robinhood’s software development

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering with a senior-level track record
• Proficiency with Bazel and large-scale monorepo build systems
• Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines at massive scale

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction and roadmap for DevX, TestX, Backend Platform, and Mobile Platform
• Lead and evolve Bazel-based monorepo build infrastructure and remote build execution
• Scale CI/CD pipelines to support thousands of daily builds with speed, safety and reliability
• Drive the vision for TestX infrastructure and environments across the Robinhood system
• Champion integration of AI and agentic systems across the SDLC to boost developer velocity
• Set technical standards for core language runtimes, libraries, IDE tooling, and environment security
• Partner with leadership to define and execute a long-term developer-infra roadmap incorporating AI
