Job summary

Robinhood is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer, Developer Infrastructure, to serve as the Uber Tech Lead unifying DevX, TestX, Backend Platform and Mobile Platform under a single technical vision. You will own the Bazel-based monorepo, the remote build cluster, and engineering-wide CI/CD, setting velocity and reliability across the org.

Qualifications

10+ years of software engineering with Senior Staff/Principal level.
Deep Bazel/monorepo experience driving scale.
Experience building CI/CD pipelines at large scale.
Fluency in Go and/or Python; familiarity with TS/Swift/Android.
Distributed systems and cloud infra, Kubernetes expertise.

Responsibilities

Own the technical direction for DevX, TestX, Backend Platform, and Mobile Platform.
Lead Bazel-based monorepo and remote build execution at scale.
Scale CI/CD pipelines and maintain pre-merge checks and test infra.
Guide AI and agentic systems across the SDLC.
Set standards for runtimes, libraries, IDE tooling, and security.
Partner with leadership to craft a long-term infra roadmap.
