Job summary

Hidden Jobs seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to own the AWS-based data platform for a regulated healthcare environment. This greenfield role centers on declarative infrastructure, version-controlled deployments, and a least-privilege access model to protect production data.

The candidate will design the deployment path, stand up observability, manage Kubernetes workloads, and work with security to meet multi-tenant compliance.

Qualifications

• Deep AWS expertise across networking, IAM, databases, and storage.
• Terraform or CDK to production standard.
• Kubernetes administration experience.
• GitOps delivery with Argo CD or equivalent.
• Ownership of CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong preference for automation over manual intervention.

Responsibilities

• Own the AWS infrastructure for the data platform, defined entirely as code.
• Build and maintain a GitOps-driven deployment path with continuous delivery.
• Design least-privilege access to production data sources across credentials, network routes, and permissions.
• Stand up observability so reliability is built in rather than added later.
• Administer the Kubernetes workloads that the platform runs on.
• Partner with the security team to meet healthcare and multi-tenant compliance requirements.
• Automate operational work, favoring autoscaling and self-healing over hands-on fixes.
