Job summary

Netris, Inc. is seeking a Senior / Staff Backend Engineer to design and own the distributed control‑plane services behind the platform.

You’ll translate requirements into scalable, production‑grade architectures and take ownership of reliability, observability, and long‑term evolution. You’ll build REST APIs with Node.js and gRPC services with Golang, collaborate with infrastructure, networking and product teams, and help drive best practices around testing and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Node.js and Golang.
• Hands‑on experience building distributed systems.
• Experience with MariaDB/MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, gRPC, Linux, and containers.
• Strong understanding of scalability, reliability, observability, and operational excellence.

About the role

We are looking for a senior backend engineer to help design, own, and build the distributed control‑plane services behind the Netris platform.

This role requires strong backend engineering fundamentals, hands‑on distributed systems experience, and the ability to translate high‑level infrastructure requirements into scalable, production‑grade system designs and implementations.

Engineers in this role are expected to take ownership across architecture, implementation, reliability, observability, and long‑term system evolution within a fast‑moving infrastructure startup environment.
