Job summary

Netris is leading the AI cloud networking space, seeking a senior product professional who bridges deep network engineering and product thinking. You will translate how networks are built and operated into requirements, designs, and UX decisions for the Netris platform.

You will report to the Head of Product and collaborate with Customers, Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure products reflect real infrastructure workflows at scale.

Qualifications

• Hold a CCIE R&S, CCIE Data Center, or equivalent certification.
• 7+ years designing and implementing scalable network architectures.
• Fluent in EVPN/BGP and understand control plane behavior and route propagation.
• Understand lossless Ethernet concepts: PFC, ECN, DCQCN.
• Translate network instrumentation and workflows into product requirements and UX guidance.
• Able to write a spec an engineer can build from and a designer can act on.

Netris is the leading network automation platform for AI clouds. AI is the largest infrastructure buildout in history, and networking is its bottleneck. Netris is the automation and multi-tenancy layer for AI cloud networking, enabling operators to launch GPU clouds in weeks, provision tenants instantly, and maximize GPU utilization. The company experienced 800% ARR growth in the last 12 months, with 35+ live GPU cluster deployments globally and growing, and is backed by Andreessen Horowitz. SDN reinvented data center networking, and Netris is doing it for the AI cloud with NAAM: Network Automation, Abstraction, and Multi-Tenancy.

The role

You will sit at the intersection of deep network engineering and product thinking, translating how networks are actually built and operated into the requirements, designs, and UX decisions that shape the Netris platform. You will report directly to the Head of Product and work closely with Customers, Engineering, Customer Success, and the field to ensure that what Netris builds reflects how infrastructure teams at the world’s most demanding AI clouds actually work. The challenge is holding both sides of that bridge at once: rigorous enough to earn trust from CCIE-level operators, and product-disciplined enough to turn their reality into something buildable and usable.

What you’ll do

• Translate network architecture patterns and operator workflows into detailed product requirements, functional specifications, and UX guidance that Engineering can build from
• Own the product intent behind core networking constructs, underlay fabric, EVPN/BGP control plane, lossless Ethernet, multi-tenancy, ensuring Netris models them in ways that are both technically accurate and operationally intuitive
• Conduct structured discovery with customers and field teams: extract network instrumentation patterns, operational pain points, and workflow gaps, then convert them into actionable product specs
• Define and maintain product design principles for how Netris surfaces network state, events, and configuration to operators across the UI and API
• Partner with Engineering on architecture reviews, keeping product intent intact through implementation and representing normalized customer priorities and outcomes
• Serve as Product authority and trusted advisor purifying customer challenges into outcomes and operational reality

You’re likely a fit if you

• Hold a CCIE R&S, CCIE Data Center, or equivalent certification and have operated at that level in production environments
• Have 7+ years designing and implementing scalable network architectures: you have built things at scale, not just designed them on whiteboards
• Are fluent in EVPN/BGP and can reason about control plane behavior, route propagation, and failure modes from first principles
• Understand lossless Ethernet in practice: PFC, ECN, DCQCN, and what happens to a RoCEv2 flow under congestion
• Can translate network instrumentation and operational workflows into product requirements and UX guidance, this is the core skill the role turns on
• Have enough product discipline to write a spec an engineer can build from and a designer can act on, without someone else cleaning it up

Preferred qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AI datacenter infrastructure: GPU cluster networking, InfiniBand fabrics, NVLink, or RoCEv2 at scale
• Familiarity with disaggregated network OS platforms: SONiC, Cumulus Linux, or Arista EOS, and how operators manage them differently from legacy appliance stacks
• Exposure to network automation tooling: Terraform, Ansible, or similar, and an understanding of how infrastructure-as-code changes operator workflows
• Experience working inside or closely alongside a product organization, not just as a technical advisor
