Job summary

Netris is seeking a senior backend engineer to design, own, and build the distributed control-plane services behind our platform. You will translate high-level infrastructure requirements into scalable, production-grade designs and implementations, taking ownership across architecture, implementation, reliability, and observability.

You’ll work on APIs, internal services, and distributed components using Node.js, Golang, and modern databases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Node.js and Golang.
• Experience with MariaDB/MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, gRPC, Linux, and containers.
• Strong understanding of scalability, reliability, observability, and operational excellence.
• Ability to translate high-level requirements into technical designs and production-ready implementations.

The Role

We are looking for a senior backend engineer to help design, own, and build the distributed control-plane services behind the Netris platform.

Our platform automates and manages the networking infrastructure powering modern AI factories, GPU clusters, cloud providers, and large-scale datacenter environments. In this role, you will build the distributed systems responsible for orchestration, automation, state management, observability, and lifecycle operations across complex infrastructure deployments.

This role requires strong backend engineering fundamentals, hands-on distributed systems experience, and the ability to translate high-level infrastructure requirements into scalable, production-grade system designs and implementations.

Engineers in this role are expected to take ownership across architecture, implementation, reliability, observability, and long-term system evolution within a fast-moving infrastructure startup environment.
