Job summary

SentinelOne in the United States seeks a Senior Staff Forward Deployed Engineer, AI to embed with departments and deliver end-to-end, production-ready applications using modern AI tools. Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Proficiency in Python or Node.js/JavaScript and frontend ability
• Hands-on with AI coding assistants and LLM tools (Claude Code, Codex)
• Experience working with non-technical stakeholders, scoping requests and delivering real solutions
• Ability to operate autonomously with shifting priorities
• Strong communication to explain trade-offs to executives and engineers
• Experience in forward-deployed/solutions engineering or startup generalist roles preferred
• Exposure to enterprise security, compliance, or data governance preferred

Responsibilities

• Embed with a department to understand workflows and pain points
• Design and build full-stack custom applications with modern frameworks and internal APIs
• Own delivery end-to-end: architecture, build, tests, deployment, handoff
• Collaborate with IT, Security, and Data teams to meet security standards
• Codify reusable patterns and playbooks from each engagement
• Provide learnings to platform, product, and data teams for the next tools
• Measure success by production adoption and business impact
