Job summary

Snowflake aims to redefine how work gets done by embedding AI into enterprise processes. We seek a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, Applied AI to lead end-to-end AI engagements for strategic customers, while remaining hands-on technically.

You will mentor a small team and set technical direction across product, engineering, and customer success. You will own the full lifecycle of AI programs, from scoping to deployment, and build scalable, trustworthy AI systems with strong quality controls and

Qualifications

Extensive experience leading technical projects or teams and delivering outcomes.
Proven track record productionizing applications using LLMs and agentic workflows.
Experience defining quality metrics and eval frameworks for ML systems.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills for technical and executive audiences.
Ability to navigate ambiguity and lead open-ended initiatives.
5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Customer-facing technical experience and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

Lead customer programs from scoping to deployment with accountability for outcomes.
Define AI quality standards, evaluation frameworks, and datasets for projects.
Mentor and grow a team of Applied AI Engineers through design reviews and coaching.
Deliver high-quality ML pipelines and agentic AI solutions with the team.
Productionize AI at scale, including safety guardrails and monitoring.
