Job summary

SailPoint seeks a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to bridge Solution Engineering, Professional Services and Product Management. You will leverage AI tooling, implement foundational solutions, and support complex, enterprise-scale accounts to accelerate time-to-value.

In the first year you’ll become a trusted advisor, lead technical engagements, and collaborate across sales, engineering and customer success to deliver high-value outcomes. Travel up to 15% is possible.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of professional work experience in enterprise software, systems integrator, or consulting
• Experience in software implementation or pre-sales
• Working knowledge of web services, app servers, databases, virtualization, and directories
• Conversant with modern SaaS architecture
• Experience with agentic coding tools

Responsibilities

• Participate in the sales process with direct and channel teams
• Discover and map customer requirements to SailPoint solutions
• Lead on-site and remote foundational implementation engagements
• Educate customers on high-level product architecture and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer experience
• Act as technical lead on customer engagements within the first year
• Speak at conferences and user groups as opportunities arise
