Boston University seeks a Senior Staff Accountant in Student Accounting Services to lead reconciliation and reporting for cash, liabilities, student receivables, and related accounts totaling over $2B.

Responsibilities include managing GL clearing, reconciling student receivables, supporting audits, and driving data-quality improvements with Excel and SAP BW. A hybrid work arrangement is available after a successful observation period.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in a university or customer service environment.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Detail oriented with ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.

Responsabilités

• Manage general ledger clearing accounts and student receivable reconciliations.
• Handle audit requests and support reporting using Excel and SAP BW.
• Identify process improvements to reduce discrepancies and improve data quality.
• Document and train staff on reconciliation processes.
