Job summary

Purdue University Northwest seeks an Accountant to support financial operations across AP, GL, reconciliations, billing, property accounting, and reporting. This role trains staff on policies and procedures and collaborates with campus departments.

Hybrid work allows up to three days remote; travel between Hammond and Westville campuses is required periodically. Minimum BA/BS in Accounting and two years of relevant experience; SAP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of fiscal or business administration work experience.
• Experience in SAP and University setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Back-up audit and entry of DIVs and credit memos in SAP.
• Train staff on DIV policies and procedures.
• Prepare monthly journal vouchers and reconciliations.
• Manage intercampus billings and property accounting processes.
• Oversee fixed asset and inventory control.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and monthly analyses.
