Job summary

Ethos is seeking experienced staff accountants to help train an AI language model using professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. The role requires 5+ years in corporate accounting, financial operations, or audit support, with hands-on ownership of close reconciliations and audit request schedules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in corporate accounting, financial operations, or audit support
• Deep fluency in GAAP, PBC documentation standards, and spreadsheet-based control testing
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks
• Support monthly close reconciliations and journal entry packages
• Prepare audit-related schedules, PBC docs, and vendor/expense audit trails
• Ensure accuracy and controls in core workflows
