Aston Carter is seeking a Staff Accountant for a fully onsite role in Frederick, MD. The role focuses on balance sheets, reconciliations, and intercompany activities, with a 1st shift schedule from 8 am to 5 pm.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of accounting experience, strong month-end and GL skills, and familiarity with GAAP, plus SAP knowledge. This position is permanent and located in Frederick, MD, offering robust benefits.

Qualifications

• 5 years of accounting experience and familiarity with GAAP.
• Strong month-end close and general ledger skills.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy in reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare month-end financial reports and weekly stakeholder reporting.
• Perform daily cash clearing, recording, and reconciliation for all entities.
• Manage fixed assets process including recording, depreciation, and tracking.
• Reconcile accounts payable vendor accounts and collaborate with the AP team.
• Maintain and import credit card statements and employee expense reports.
