Aston Carter seeks a Staff Accountant in Mount Pleasant, SC, offering a two-month onsite training followed by a hybrid schedule with two office days per week. The role supports the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records and processing routine accounting tasks.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, 1–2 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in AP, GL, and reconciliations. The position is based in a hybrid work environment with growth potential.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AP processing and general ledger entries.
• Experience with reconciliations, including bank reconciliations.
• Ability to perform month-end journal entries.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Enter Accounts Payable (AP) invoices into the accounting system.
• Post expense reports into the accounting system.
• Disburse credit card statements, receive receipts, and post journal entries.
• Perform bank reconciliations and prepaid reconciliations.
• Assemble and print the weekly check run.
• Make journal entries into the General Ledger (GL).
