Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking an Accountant for a permanent, on-site role in Farmington Hills, MI. The candidate will prepare financial statements, analyze accounts, and ensure compliance with financial reporting procedures.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, 3-5 years of experience, strong MS Office skills, and GAAP knowledge. Korean language ability is a plus but not required. Salary ranges are $60,000–$70,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or equivalent degree in Accounting/Finance.
• Ability to speak Korean is a plus but not required.
• 3-5 years experience in a similar role.
• MS Office skills.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures per GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Prepare assets, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Document financial transactions and assign entries to proper accounts.
• Support and prepare Financial Statements in a timely manner.
• Develop reports to support the board in decision-making.
• Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenue, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses.
