Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Frederick, MD is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to manage all facets of accounting for assigned subsidiaries, maintain the general ledger, and support financial reporting and tax filings.

The role requires strong GAAP knowledge, ERP experience, and high accuracy in a fast-paced environment. The Senior Staff Accountant will coordinate with Corporate HQ and subsidiary management, prepare journal entries, and assist auditors, with a focus on internal controls and process

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting required.
• 3–7 years of general ledger experience.
• Experience with large ERP systems; CPA is preferred but not required.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial analysis skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.
• Produce timely financial statements for assigned subsidiaries.
• Maintain GL schedules and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with auditors and prepare supporting schedules.
• Analyze operations and provide cost and performance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
