Job summary

Frederick Fox LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting team in Plano, TX. The role blends hands-on accounting, financial analysis and process improvement to strengthen our financial reporting and controls.

The ideal candidate brings 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience, CPA certification, and a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP. You will partner with various departments and external auditors to support audits and ongoing reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support the month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations and financial statements
• Analyze financial results, investigate variances and identify key trends
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management
• Ensure accounting activity is completed accurately and in accordance with applicable accounting standards
• Assist with moderately complex technical accounting matters
• Partner with and provide guidance to less experienced accounting team members
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting and internal controls
• Help develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
• Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audit requirements
• Work cross-functionally with other areas of the business to resolve accounting and reporting issues
• Support ad hoc accounting and financial analysis projects as required

Qualifications
