Job summary

JW & Associates in Boca Raton, FL seeks a Senior Staff Accountant to oversee accounting functions, cost tracking, and contract compliance. Based in a satellite office, you will report to the VP of Finance & Operations and collaborate with operations, sales, and leadership.

Ideal candidates bring strong GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and experience in coffee/CPG manufacturing. This role emphasizes accuracy, cross-functional collaboration, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Advanced Excel skills are required.
• 4–5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong GAAP, accrual, and cost accounting knowledge.
• Coffee, food manufacturing, or CPG industry experience preferred.
• Experience managing customer or vendor contracts is a plus.
• Proficient with NetSuite or similar ERP software.
• Bilingual in English & Spanish a plus.
• CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Manage three-way match AP/AR and general ledger activities.
• Oversee purchase order requisitions, deliverables, and cost tracking.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax preparers, and financial institutions.
• Provide contract-related financial insights and reporting.
