Pantheon Electric is seeking a Staff / Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Stamford, CT. This role supports month-end close, financial reporting under US GAAP, reconciliations, and variance analysis across North American operations in a private equity-backed manufacturing environment.

You will work closely with finance leadership, drive process improvements, and gain exposure to multiple business units while growing your accounting career within a fast-paced organization.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, or a combination of both.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial statement preparation.
• Hands-on experience preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly and quarterly close process, including journal entries, accruals, and supporting schedules.
• Prepare and maintain balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation in accordance with US GAAP.
• Perform variance analysis and help identify key drivers behind financial results.
• Support internal and external audit requests and maintain clear supporting documentation.
• Assist with tax compliance activities and coordinate with external advisors as needed.
• Partner with finance and operational teams to improve reporting accuracy and financial visibility.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve close efficiency.
