Job summary

This role offers broad exposure to monthly closes, financial reporting, reconciliations, variance analysis, and interaction with finance leadership in a private equity-backed manufacturing context.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, improve processes, and gain visibility across the organization as it scales.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience in public or corporate accounting.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and financial statements.
• Hands-on experience preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
• Strong Excel skills and experience handling financial data.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage competing priorities.
• Collaborative, hands-on approach and willingness to learn.
• Strong communication with finance and cross-functional partners.
• Experience in manufacturing, multi-entity, or PE-backed environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly and quarterly close, including journal entries and accruals.
• Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve reconciling items promptly.
• Assist with US GAAP financial statement prep.
• Perform variance analysis and identify key drivers.
• Support internal and external audit requests.
• Assist with tax compliance and coordinate with external advisors.
• Partner with finance and operations to improve reporting visibility.
• Identify opportunities to streamline close processes.
• Take on additional responsibilities as the organization grows.
